Dedication of Clinton Chapter

Companions on Sunday, 9.19, we had the honor of dedicating new apartments for Clinton Chapter. These are at he O.E.S. home in Mt. Vernon. All three York Rite bodies had their dedications at that time.

The Lodge Room is very nice and has excellent seating. The furniture is from the old temple down town and after having the dirt and grime of about 100 years removed, it is absolutely beautiful.

If you get a chance to visit the O.E.S. home, make sure that you see the Lodge Room.

Grand Chapter of Kentucky, 9/15 & 16

Companions I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Chapter of Kentucky the last two days with MEC Losasso. Also in attendance was RECs George Shell, Don Owens and Bob Thomas. Two Past Grand High Priests, MECs Joe Worthington and Alan Hart, were also in attendance. The session was at a Holiday Inn in Lexington. and is for one day. Business is conducted in the morning followed by a lunch (more like a dinner). After lunch the Order of Annoited Hight Priest is portrayed followed by the Installation of Officers.

The Grand Chapter of Kentucky has approximately 4,500 members and 52 Chapters. The attendance at the Grand session was aroung 200.

All in all it was a great trip and experience. You could not ask for a friendly greeting or better fellowship.
