Medina Commandery #84 had its annual turkey dinner before the stated conclave. Up until her death Lady Mary DeWolf always fixed a turkey or turkey breast for the covered dish. This year lady Dorothy Snyder picked up the tradition and we had a roasted turkey breast. Julia fixed mashed potatoes and the other ladies brought assorted side dishes. As usual we had more food than necessary and it was all quite tasty.
After the meal the Sir Knights retired to the asylum and opened in Full Form getting ready for the annual inspection. Normal business was transacted and the conclave was closed at 8:30 PM.
Nothing special about the meeting but the exceptional fellowship of the covered dish dinner with the Ladies.
'til the next time.
