Mark Lodge No. 2 Inspection

No pictures last night.   Mark Lodge No. 2 meets in Cleveland Masonic Temple on Euclid Avenue.  Naturally they meet in what is called the DeMolay room.   A nice big room but nothing really elaborate.   There was one new wrinkle last night.   The Mark Lodge members were wearing new aprons designed for them.   It is white with a purple border.   There is a square and compasses on the flap.  On the body of the apron there is a key stone.   They are quite nice.   The lodge is selling them for $50 as a fund raiser.   Members also buy one and donate it to the new Mark Master.   This was done last night.

There were 5 members of Wadsworth Lodge No. 385 in attendance to support the RWM John Pence who is the senior warden of the lodge.

The Grand Chapter was well represented by:

Jim Himmelright, GHP
Bob Thomas, GCOH
Jeff Addis, GM3V
George Nockengost, Grd Marshall
William Young, Grd Guard
Joel Otis, DDGHP and inspecting officer
Don Van Horn, DDGHP
Bob Draye, PGHP
Pluse 3 PDDGHPs

It made for one beautiful semicircle during introductions.

The degree work started at 8:00 PM and was done just before 9:00 PM.   The work was very nice in all aspects.   RWM Pence was given a Red Cross pin for his excellent work.  The new Mark Master is Jason French, dad advisor of Barberton DeMolay.

After the degree we retired to the dinning room for chicken wings, home made macaroni salad and a veggie tray.   Nice refreshments.

When we left the snow had not yet began.   So dry roads, good work and great refreshments made another good night.

'til the next time.
