Past Master Degree

Thursday night turned into a three degree night in Garrettsville at Silvercreek Chapter #144. The Chapter opened at 7:00 PM in the Royal Arch Degree, conducted business and by 7:30 were opening in the Mark Master. The Mark was done in fine form with REC Bill Whittenberger in the east. At 8:45 I opened the Past Master. If I must say so myself, I did a nice job in portraying the degree and we now have a new Past Master. After the degrees we adjourned to the dining room for hot dogs.
A few details about the Garrettsville Lodge. It is an old building and the Lodge is extremely well maintained.and the furniture is very nice. The most interesting point is that it is above a tavern that has mostly county music on the juke box. Well, insulation between the lodge and the tavern is nonexistent and the music spills over to the lodge quite nicely. The fun part is that it never seems to fail that Willie Nelson or Hank Williams, Jr. joins us in the middle of an obligation. We were spared that little indignation for a change.
All in all it was a good night. 'til the next time.
