Priory in Zanesville

Candidates and 17th District Companions

SNOW!! When we left home we had enough snow to say a "light dusting" was on the ground. On the trip to Zanesville we saw a little more than a "light dusting" in places. There may have been an inch on the ground in places. I think everybody can tell from the pictures that winter has truly arrived. By the time we got to Zanesville the sun was shinning and it was about 40 degrees.
I dropped Julia off at the Holiday Inn Express where the Ladies program was to take place and then went on to the Lodge. The outside of the Lodge is quite nice as the picture shows.
There were 24 Brothers being Knighted and I am pleased to say that 5 of our DDGHPs were among them. RECs May, Black, Hyde and King are now Knights York Cross of Honor. I congratulate them on their achievement.
The new Prior is William D. Stratton. Brother Stratton is a PDDGHP of the 17th Dist, PDDGM of the 25th Dist. and 33rd from the Valley of Canton. If I introduce him the easiest thing to say is "he has one of everything and some of them twice.
Another good day.
'til the next time!
